Oh. My. Gosh! I LOVE those! I think I'm going to need those pattern links after all.....
I love those too!! I'm thinking that a certain niece and nephew of mine will be in need of new shoes!
These shoes are made from the 18-month size from the free patterns at http://www.sweetandviciousdesigns.com/mialapatterns.html
The Martha Stewart shoes (like the red ones) are at
http://www.marthastewart.com/page.jhtml?type=content&id=channel1263&contentGroup=KIDS&site=kids&rsc=ns2006_m1
and I enlarged the template 341%.
There is also a free pattern at http://ohelene.net/sko/oheleneshoes.pdf
but I haven't tried it.
I had another one but must not have bookmarked it.
There is one for purchase at www.chloetoesboutique.com and at
http://www.makethemyourself.com/mary.html
but I haven't used either. I have known the Chloe Toes designed for a few years on a diaper sewing list so I am sure her pattern is fantastic.
My leather scraps came from my local Tandy Leather and I also bought some from HomeSew.com but they are mostly small, not big enough for shoe pieces but good for appliques.
you are awesome!!
I've GOT to make some of these...
